DIRECTORY A digital directory of members and associates is made available on our website Member access only. This directory also contains useful information on the companies and in which field within the industry.
COMMITTEES Individual Board of Directors members serve as Chairpersons or Co-Chairpersons of various standing committees that address specific issues impacting the association. The committee structure allows for contractor and associate member input to technical and regulatory issues that concern the industry. These issues may involve the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, FHWA, or other state and national agencies. There are also committees comprised of members concerning association activities that require member input. The committees meet on an as-needed basis to address specific issues of interest to association members.
INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS Industrial relations services include representation in safety standards and employer-employee relations.
ADVOCACY Staff members represent the industry through continuous contact with the General Assembly, the Legislative Research Commission, the Federal Highway Administration, the Kentucky Department of Highways, Governors office etc. Doing so allows us to advocate for those issues most important to our members while also staying on top of issues important to the industry.
INSURANCE A group health, life, accident and disability insurance program is available. In addition, a workers’ compensation self-insurance program is available at very favorable rates.
